Bantayan Island: Sweet as Sugar (antbites)

By the time my fish tails (well feet actually;that's how i roll it) stepped the powdery white sand and crushing cool waves of Bantayan Island, my island gurl was switched on (seriously).  I was even thinking to stay there like forever?! like I don't have to care bout the world or anything else---only me and the sea and the island.

Ouch! reality bites, I need to work so I was there with my colleagues for an overnight stay.  Everything went well, except for some people who had been drunk and let's just say that sometimes they got overboard with their feeling of being a model (lingerie for men). Erase2x.

I can't fathom the marvels the island had affected me, during night time, I don't know if it was earth hour or there was a couple of hours of lights off on the whole island.  And we just huddle around and look at the stars flickering above us (aaaahhhh could life be more great than this?!; yah, work; lol).

Our group went camwhoring and island hopping in the virgin island.  You must pass wavy currents before you reach the island.  People was on there feastive mode hence I do think it was the place's barrio fiesta and oh I did forget to tell you that were staying in a resort name sa SUGAR BEACH.  Yes, because they compare the sand their like of the sugar.

Sweet tooth-pics coming ahead.

welcome to my kind of paradise

remember like bora but its not that crowded

walang kamatayang group shots: an inch off the shore not bad

P.S.
When I'll get the chance to go back to Bantayan I will sure have someone holding my left hand ♥ (ayeeeee).

CAMOTES: In 3D ►

I bluff again and ay-gain that I'll be finishing it up for like a tons of ages now but seriously.  A thought came to my mind and I was directly appalled by the said thought.  Why write like a cheetah when this is your blog and nobody is hurrying you to write things (a good point actually;talking to my "safeguard" self again).  I'll be having a time of my life in writing what I think and feel coz writers and artists are being that way (as if;ikr;lol).

Our October 2011 flip floppin' is in the remote island of Cebu.  It has its own local brewed of sun drenched, powdery beaches and water caves that makes you go Oh La La! (yes am singing now baby).  Amy, ay-gain and her colleagues are first to head out to Camotes while Ken2x and I are still starting to set our north there.  It was a really sunny Sunday morning and we have departed in the barge and to tell you honestly, its not the heat that's excruciating but the looooonnnggggggg hours sitting in the barge.  looking out in a placid blue sea.  Good thing if you're with bunch of friends who are nagging non-stop that would be music to your ears so what we did was do the usual thing sleep (zzzzzz).

After looooonnnggg tooting of the barge signalling that we are almost on shore, we've come off board (thank God;its like I've been hibernating for the past decade in space;that's how sleepy you'll get). Amy and her friends waited for us in the mini canteen by the pier area and we rode in a multicab going to our rest house.  Before getting in there, you'll be greeted with the shanties of the local folks and there crops and as soon as we have arrived in the NIPA that's the name of the place, I felt a sudden excitement.  I want to run and take lots of pictures and swim and.... oh---its low tide and the sea water is way back but nah, who cares, nothing beats sunset in the beach.  As what Amy said way back, the place is more beautiful than the picture and indeed she is right.  It's more of a 3D.  Btw, we joked regarding the name, as to why it has been named as Camotes, hence we've thought that there are like lots of sweet potatoes scattered in place and we were right. See Traveling Morion's explanation regarding the history of the Camotes' name.

Now, put your 3D glasses on and watch our unbecoming frolic in CAMOTES.
