New Zealand: from North ► South Islands

Hello mates! am back in a jiffy.  This would be my second post for the whirling adventure I have to New Zealand.  The photos that will be bombarding you (this very instant) are those taken from different parts of NZ hence we were traveling from time to time (every week different locations;#likeamodel) so I think I've managed or Irish had captured some scenic views or moments from different parts of NZ. :)

First on the list is Whangarei (you should pronounce it as if the W is F so it should sound like Fangarey;with Brit accent),its the vast and greenest place evah.  We didn't take the plane due to technical problem so Sir Daniel arranged to be transported through a shuttle.  It was a loooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggg drive.  First time to check on the country side of NZ (well there cities are sort of country side to me; well there are still lots of trees and grass and lesser people), I was stunned and amazed of how beautiful the view is, though I miss the coconut trees here in Philippines (i always like to sit by the window side in the bus because I like to feel  the gush of the air and see the trees as we pass by).  Until such time, well nobody warned/informed me ahead that there will be lots of vast green pastures as we head through Whangerei.  So I was dizzy taking pictures of the same green stuff and felt asleep on the way.  As I was dreamin'...

Here comes Hammy, well its Hamilton to be exact.  We didn't have time to roam around and see the Botanical Garden because we were there for our job (rolling of the eye+rolling back again).  Though we stayed in a cozy hotel where I haven't slept because I can hear the roaring engines of racing cars in the wee hours of the night (thank you for the NOISE).  I was dead zombie like in the office and after which, Mission Bay hence Leiden a.k.a drifter had invited us and had gassed up for the ride.

and Me dead tired:zzzzz
The whimsical Mission Bay.  I didn't know that if someone will take you to this place specifically a male and your a female, it means a DATE.  Oh well, I'm no KIWI okay, but anyways, drifter was down to earth guy and toured us around and even gave as some cool moves on his rendition of Rihannas Umbrella (♫ella eh eh eh eh eh♫).  His tezza was a wicked boombox, it have speakers on the backseat and a cool tv in front and there are saved songs and music videos to chill.  I've learned that the song Sugar Honey Ice Tea--- was in short, s*** (am turning red).  We've eaten the sort of staple food of NZ, Fish and Chips with the company of some fleeting seagulls.

I welcome you to our bed in Tauranga (hehehehe), nah, after HAM, we are going more south now.  We have visited Tauranga for like twice and I say the place is very welcoming and it seems like there are lots of things that you can do in TAU.  The second time that we have stayed in TAU is that we were a bit near Mt. Manganui, you can trek, trek run/jog, have picnics or do the glider thing (if only i have the money and time; grrrr).  Though we did tour Mt. Manganui, just brisk walking and taking some monkey shots.  J, (i'll just call him that) was generous enough to sort of tour and treat us for dinner in a fancy resto called Valentines.  I've ate cold turkey and its really slumpy cold.  And the fun never ends, J, was totally friendly and very good conversationalist (if i may say; i mean i don't get bored).

our 2nd stay is near Mt. Manganui

i wasn't ZETS this time yet
We stumble to the tip of New Zealand, its Dunedin, everyone.  I can totally compare the location to somewhat of Forks, Phoenix in US were Twilight was shot.  We have arrived evening and before we reach the city proper, we have to drive through a spooky path with tall pine trees and an overlooking crescent moon which was by the way the only beaming light provider on our road.  As soon as we arrived in the city, it was like I was transported to London with paved road and old buildings all over.

Pine trees all over
While we were in Christchurch.  I've just got few photos.  We have spent our pre long weekend in there, working (duh?!) and the Lamborghini below is owned by oldie but goodie GM.  He treated us for some ice cream (slurpppp).

And back to AKL .
